OUTPATIENT CLINICS


    • An outpatient comes to the hospital for a consultation, procedure or treatment and leaves the same day.
    • Outpatient care is any type of service offered by the hospital that does not require an overnight stay.
    • Treatment procedures such as chemotherapy and some forms of radiotherapy can be carried out on an outpatient basis.
    • Cancer patients will most likely be outpatients for the majority of their treatment as most types of treatment do not require hospitalization. 
    • This service is provided through 7 clinics :
  •         ú  Two clinics  for new cases.
  •           ú  four clinics for follow up
  •         ú  One for palliative care unit follow up.
